On a even lighter note, completed my RMT project, just in time for submission later at 12 pm. Yay. After much struggling, it has been proven that..... WORK for a group of 5 can be DONE by 2.

Class later at 9 am in the morning, its already 5 am now, and i'm supposed to wake up at... 7. WIN!

2009 i would say, wasn't a very good year, but it wasn't a very bad one either. But its all in the past.

Whatever we have done wrong, we learn from it; whatever we have not accomplised, we'll do it in the year ahead. It's time to move forward.

All i wish is that, it's gonna be a good year ahead, because we do not know, exactly, how long more, we'll be able to live.. After all the controversial discussion on whether 2012 will be the end of the world. Well, i don't deny that signs of apocalypse are aring day after day. But, that might not be true either.. We don't know.

Its been a long long while...

I suppose its high time i update this blog already or else people will start removing my name from their list of links. haha. Ok erm.. Back tracking, i think my last post is 2 weeks ago! Thats very long.. Ok then..

Hmmm.. Voices of Harmony concert 2 weeks back.. Though it wasn't really worth the time performing, but the exposure and experience counts. So yeah, and there's this movie called "The Little Note" screened during the show and SCO did an impressive job with the background music. Seriously awesome! And well, not forgetting David Tao. Though it wasn't the best experience but on a lighter note, at least we didnt have to pay to watch him perform. haha.

Ok next up, Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon! Kinda went alone, and met new friends for that 9 hours of volunteery work.. Well, haha, i fell asleep most of the time though. And Vanessa was awake most of the time.. haha sorry yeah! But still, it was nice knowing John, Vanessa, James, Selena, Aloysius, and.. and... (shit i forgot her name)! ok nvm. cheers guys! i would have been dead bored without you guys!

Well, a full 2 weeks, and it really hasn't been an interesting one. Since commont test is around the korner.. And i needa study!.. And some sudden decision that i have to make, if i wanna go for my OIP (Overseas Immersion Programme). And it took me quite long to decide though. And i'm going for attachment next semester. Not really ready for it though, but, i'll pull through it! Well, this also means, no holidays for me for the next half a year, and it will extend longer, if i'm a confirmed name in the list going to china. pfft!

A long week has come to an end (pt 2)

Stupid title yeah, cant think of something better. 2nd part of the updates from last week, might as well use this time to blog while taking a break from studying.

5 gigs in 2 days. I don't know how many times a year Baracuda get to have something tiring and demanding as this, but it surely isn't the first time. It certainly doesn't work in the long run if it really happens because I think everyone will be either too shagged to do anything else, or fall sick from lack of rest. Which is kinda screwed up if it happens. Well, i reckon too..

Os Batuque Fantástica was awesome i would say. It was nice performind with Bloco Singapura again as well as watching the rest of the bands perform. Since its an underground gig, no one except pedestrians and the host of the event knows about it. But overall, it was a fantastic evening.

RED Camp came to an end in 3 days and it seems as though it never happened. Well, partly is because its e learning week for me i guess. Nonetheless, helped out during the event and performed during Hop Night. Dont feel like talking about it anymore, brings back bad memories for me, though it was a good show. But at the same time, a bad one.

Oh! and there's also WGS's 10th anniversary celebration and dinner. Performed with the rest of the WGSCO alumnis and it really feels good meeting some of them again after such a long time. Lots of serious catching up to do really. But the entire celebration logistics was kinda sucky. Operations were smooth, but quite chaotic... hmm.

Lots of things are starting to run in my mind now.. Lots of decisions to make, lots of sacrifices to take, thanks to clashing schedules here and there, and lots of catching up to do...

I'm kinda starting to get bored of life... For some reasons yes and i dont know why.. Maybe its just daily routines tiring me out, or maybe lots of unwanted worries here and there. Well, i needa do something about it.. And yes.. i do have to...

Talking about sacrifices, i've decided not to be a GL for sports camp. Since i can't go for trainings, i might as well don't feature myself out of a sudden. Unless i can get in through connetions, which i doubt so laa.. and its unfair to the rest. But thinking again, maybe others wont give a damn about being... fair. Disappointing really, but what to do...

Starting to think too much recently as well, which adds on to my stress level. After a short talk with pet, i think i should really reflect on myself. But on the other hand, i think some people need to seriously work on their concept and the meaning of the word....'FRIENDS'. Still don't get it? FuDUMB shit!.. anyway.. thanks Pet, for the advice, though i think it won't work still.....

A long week has come to an end (pt 1)

Finally, a tough long week has come to an end. Survived a series of activities day after day for the entire 7 days and I'm glad its finally over. Well, even though its an e learning week, STILL i have to rush everywhere despite the privilege of staying at home to do work. zz

Will update tomorrow again. Fucking 8am practical tomorrow morning. WORST! There's a damn class quiz worth 10%.. AHHH!! FML!

1) I'm so gonna get scolded by Ben, because i havent do my AS slides for him.

2) I'm so gonna be late for my 9am e learning tmr morning when i log in.

3) I'm so screwed because i missed the dateline for my I&E proposal.

4) I'm so dead because i have a lot of work to catch up with!

5) I'm so angry with myself for spending a solid 1 hour explaining my thought which in the end, turned out to be a pile of ununderstandle alien language.

Fuck hell of the weekend.

And so yes... after a fucking emo post.. Its another round of updates. Anyways, i'm fine now, just kinda pissed by the way some people think.

Well, my weekends are kinda.... wasted but fruitful as well.

Had a damn full-day rehearsal at WGS on saturday which kinda had all my time wasted. Woke up at 7.30am in the morning to deliver the Djembe back for the rest because of their busking at ACS Barker, which i wasnt able to join, and then bus and cabbed all the way to wdlands. I was in time before the alumni's item started but the waiting time was generally crap. And so after 2 rounds of rehearsals, everything ended at around 4.30pm.

Percussion item practise for the 'Voice of Harmony' concert on the 27th at around 5pm. But it only lasted like, 30 mins. Lepak-ed all the way till 7 plus and then headed for the movies. Had dinner at Pastamania and thanks Zi Kai for the 20% staff discount. :) Watched the 12.05am show and it ended at around 2.30am. This awesome movie is none other than "2012". Well, i'll blog about this in my next post.

As for sunday, it was generally a waste. Because i freaking snoozed till 4pm in the evening. pffts! Wanted to catch up with my work and stuff initially but in the end i couldnt. So basically, sunday is...... fucked up.

Had dinner with BB peeps last friday and ice cream @ Udders after that. First time at udders for me and i had Tira-miss-u (Tira-miss-u- Tiramisu with Cognac & Whiskey) & Chocmarsh for the day. Its kinda been a while since we had dinner together, though the turn up wasnt that good, we still had fun talking cock and it was all smiles.. :)

Bloco gig on thursday was power pack ahh! Performed at Indochine @ Asian Civilisation Museum for a D&D event. Its kinda related to APEC 2009, where world leaders gather to discuss world issues. There were a lot of caucasians there. Well, playing samba can never get better than this. The gig started at around 11pm. And i got home like 1am. And 8am class the next morning. And i was late anyways. pfft!

Well i suppose thats it for the week... Tomorrow.. or rather today and throughout the week's e learning week. YAY! no need to go to school for classes. But, there's still assignments to be done at home though. On a lighter note, i'll have more sleeping time, as well as to get all my undone stuff done. YES! and lots of gigs ongoing this week. Better plan my time well..
